Project Information
In 2020, the Westlake Village City Council adopted the North Business Park Specific Plan. The Plan identifies properties along Lindero Canyon Road and Corsa Avenue as suitable sites for housing.
The owners of the properties at 5601, 5655, and 5701 Lindero Canyon Road (shown the map above) are proposing a residential development project consisting of 693 rental units, of which 70 units would be restricted for rent to very low-income households. The owners are proposing to exercise rights granted by the state’s Density Bonus Law, which requires cities to allow developers to build more units and taller buildings than would otherwise be allowed in exchange for some of the units being restricted for rent to lower-income households.
The property owners submitted an information package about the proposed project on March 22, 2023, and submitted an expanded information package for the City Council study session held on April 26, 2023.
